Primrose Hill House
Stunning Primrose Hill house designed, decorated and
furniture sourced by team NW3 Interiors.
The Project
The Challenge
Our clients moved in the midst of a refurbishment when they contacted us for help.
They were converting a period home in the heart of Primrose Hill into their forever home. Here they would welcome guests and in the future, start a family.
They had already started work and had a good basis for us to build on. The shell of the design had been planned. Our part was to create and help them finalise colour schemes, furniture pieces and designing bespoke areas.
The Solution
We assisted with designing, sourcing and supplying the furniture. In addition to wallpaper, blinds, lighting and soft furnishings.
Creating a cohesive and stylish aesthetic to mix with the existing design by the client that was both beautiful and future-proof. Everything was designed to accommodate their needs and habits. In particular, the dressing room had to facilitate the couples opposing morning routines and create various storage spaces.
The gorgeous bedroom was our favourite area to work on. The Parisian-esque femininity of the space we enhanced by our recommendations of silk blinds and sheer curtains in muted tones. Complemented by Ochre lighting used throughout. This acted as a contrast with the more modern aesthetic opted for. Moreover, in the dining space, we decided on the durable and comfortable Knoll Saarinen dining chair, enriched by the marble Knoll Saarinen Tulip table, picking up the details from the dark flooring. We chose a chunky knit curtain in calm tones to suit the space, adding texture and cosiness.
We love the incredible Flos Pendant which hangs over the open stairway, visible from the door entrance. The design of the living area was where we could play with vibrant colours to stand out against the neutral kitchen backdrop.
Pops of colour from the blue sofa, tan leather Knoll Saarinen Womb chair and a high back Knoll Bertoia chair completed this living space.
The Outcome
Our wonderful clients now have a gorgeous home that is full of life and co-ordinated colour.
Their key investment pieces have created an array of timeless design for their home. The spatial architecture is laced throughout with fine finishing touches. A breathtaking home with well-designed entertaining areas.
We thoroughly enjoyed this project and wish our clients’ years of happiness in their new home.
Carly first visited our home when it was still a construction site, but regardless she was able to envision all of the potential it had that I found impossible to see without her. Whilst we already knew what kind of look we were going for, Carly helped us bring small ideas to life whilst also ensuring that we make the most of the space. She has SO many great ideas and so many fantastic suggestions from light fittings to beautiful furniture suggestions to door handles and light switches.
The best part is that I had so much fun with Carly along the way – she made the journey an extremely enjoyable one. I would love to work with Carly (and Molly) again in the future – highly recommended!
