Primrose Hill Village Home

Designed, decorated and furniture sourced exclusively by NW3 Interiors.

The Project

The Challenge

Our lovely clients are Scandinavian and English and live with their two children in a quiet (and totally gorgeous) road in Primrose Hill Village. NW3 Interiors have been entrusted with many of the rooms in their home (we are currently designing their new lounge which has bespoke lite bookcases from Rupert Bevan, silk wallpaper and an iconic Eames Chair from Vitra, a project which we can not wait to share with you.)

In comparison to the rest of the house this guest room was terribly lack-lustre with little character. Our brief was to blend minimal with cosy, practical with textures.  For this small room the client asked that we maximised space for storage whilst keeping the flow of walkway around the bed.

The Solution

For our storage solutions, we immediately went to our partners at DK3 who manufacture the Royal Storage System in Denmark and chose walnut which matched the existing bed frame.  It allows for space under the drawers for suitcases.

A brand where we often find has the perfect lighting style for our projects is Bert Frank who are based in the UK.  We placed lights either side of the bed reading and ambience. We chose grey linen wallpaper from ARTE to match our handmade roman blind of pretty blue tits, to soften the room. A useful chair by DK3 was placed in the corner to enhance the Nordic-esque feel the client was after.

The Outcome

The project took 10 weeks from concept to completion which included floor plans, mood-board, materials, finishes and pricing (4 weeks including 2 visits). Within 11 hours of design time NW3 Interiors sourced and designed a room the client could visualise and fall for. Our team of trusted builders installed all of the decoration, furniture and blinds. Now guests can enjoy the welcoming interiors.
