Primrose Hill Terrace

Designed, decorated and furniture sourced exclusively by NW3 Interiors

The Project

The Challenge

A family who love the outdoors wished for the outdoor terrace of their home In Primrose Hill to convert from dark brown wooden flooring and wicker furniture to a fresh, usable space which could be enjoyed all year round. With the ability to entertain friends and relax as a family. The family required long-lasting furniture that would withstand all types of weather and withstand the test of time aesthetically also.

The Solution

Firstly, we combined furniture from multiple suppliers including Italian dining chairs (brand Moroso). Alongside a lovely long wipe-able outdoor table designed by Richard Schultz back in the 60’s, made by Knoll. The design features a gap between the table top and the frame allowing rain water to fall off the surface. This is great for durability and keeping your table fresh all year round. The coffee tables are from Hay. They made the perfect match for the rest of the decor and were very reasonably priced.

The combination of high-end and high-street meant the client could invest in some quality long lasting pieces, as well as complete the design within budget . The client and I worked together to find bright, accent cushions to bring the scheme together. Thus resulting in the boho chic aesthetic our client was hoping to achieve. We also added amazing candles (from Primrose Hill Candles), lighting and lamps.

The Outcome

My client and their family are enjoying their new summer-ready terrace and being able to put their feet up. The outcome of the space being a more luxurious and cool outdoor area for them all to spend time in. Overall, it was a pleasure working on this gorgeous home and with this lovely client. She left a fantastic review which you can read below.
