Primrose Hill House
Designed, decorated and furniture sourced by team NW3 Interiors.
Our clients were moving in the midst of a refurbishment when they contacted us for help.
They were converting a period home in the heart of Primrose Hill into their forever home, where they would welcome guests and in the future, start a family.
They had already started work and had a good basis for us to build on. The shell of the design had already been planned so we got to work creating – helping them to finalise colour schemes, furniture pieces and designing bespoke areas for example, the dressing room.
We assisted with designing, sourcing and supplying the furniture for the dining area, wallpaper, blinds, lighting and soft furnishings for all rooms.
Creating a cohesive and stylish aesthetic to mix with the existing design by the client that was both beautiful and future-proof. Everything was designed to accommodate their needs and habits, especially the dressing room which was to facilitate the couples opposing morning routines and to create various storage spaces.
The gorgeous bedroom was one of our favourite areas to work on, the Parisian-esque femininity of the space was enhanced by our recommendations of silk blinds and sheer curtains in muted tones and complemented by our choice of Ochre lighting used throughout. This acted as a contrast with the more modern aesthetic opted for in the dining space where we decided on the durable and comfortable Saarinen dining chair from Knoll enriched by a large round marble Knoll Saarinen Tulip table, picking up the details from the dark flooring. We chose a chunky knit curtain in calm tones to suit the space, adding texture and cosiness.
We love the incredible Flos Pendant which hangs over the open stairway, visible from the door entrance. The design of the living area was where we could play with vibrant colours to stand out against the neutral kitchen backdrop.
Pops of colour from the blue sofa, tan leather Knoll Saarinen Womb chair and a high back Knoll Bertoia chair completed this living space.
Our wonderful clients now have a gorgeous home that is full of life and co-ordinated colour.
Their key investment pieces have created an array of timeless design for their home. The spatial architecture is laced throughout with fine finishing touches. A breathtaking home with well-designed entertaining areas, an open plan living room, a gorgeous master bedroom, dressing area with ensuite and a fabulous top floor guest room (to name a few!).
We thoroughly enjoyed this project and wish our clients’ years of happiness in their new home.
Carly first visited our home when it was still a construction site, but regardless she was able to envision all of the potential it had that I found impossible to see without her. Whilst we already knew what kind of look we were going for, Carly helped us bring small ideas to life whilst also ensuring that we make the most of the space. She has SO many great ideas and so many fantastic suggestions from light fittings to beautiful furniture suggestions to door handles and light switches.
The best part is that I had so much fun with Carly along the way – she made the journey an extremely enjoyable one. I would love to work with Carly (and Molly) again in the future – highly recommended!
