Our NW3 blog this week comes from Clerkenwell Design Week, which has run from Wednesday 23rd to Friday 25th of May. Taking place at a variety of show rooms, exhibition centres and other gorgeous destinations around Clerkenwell Road, #CDW2017 has featured a spectacular array of installations and product launches across the three days.

Clerkenwell itself is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else on the planet. Clerkenwell Design Week, now in its 8th year, celebrates the rich and diverse Clerkenwell community by creating a showcase of leading UK and international brands and companies presenting across 3 days in the area. Attracting over 30,000 people in 2016 and with 300 brands exhibiting, NW3 Interiors headed down to be a part of the amazing week and share some of our favourite exhibitors.

From Design Through the Ages to Kitchens of the Future, Ergonomics at Work to Future Washroom Trends, Clerkenwell had it all. Excellent speakers discussed important industry issues across the 3 days, whilst Icon Magazine took over Fabric night to present Icon House of Culture. Basked in glorious sunshine for most of the 3 days, #CDW2017 was awash with vibrant, open discussions and excellent exhibitions.

Carly- “My favourite lights were the iconic lights from Bert Frank which I have recently included in my project in Camden and Primrose Hill. The range and development of the designs always surprise me and their constant ability to produce new and interesting pieces means that they are not only one of my favourite lighting designers but are an established and trusted brand partner of NW3 Interiors.

Across the 3 days, Clerkenwell Design Week played host to some of the very best the Design world has to offer!
